It is my understanding that Groupon is skirting the app store rules by no using the in-app payment API to do in-app purchases. Supposedly some part of their UI is rendered in Webkit and the purchase actually happens in there.
Do you think in light of Apple's recent policy changes, that Groupon et. all are next in Apple's sights?
