OLED has insanely fast response time, yes, but as a result are the worst sample-and-hold artifact offenders. An OLED running at 1000 Hz is the holy grail, 120 Hz would be amazing, and 240 Hz would be 99% there. When the source content is lower than the display refresh rate you could add hardware that averages previous frames and adds one frame of latency. That might be acceptable if it makes motion appear more smooth.
Of course these are things we won’t see for decades.
