Ask HN: How do you figure out your next career move?

I recently left my last job as a PM at a tech company in SF and feeling professionally lost. I have 6 years of experience in various analytics and product roles at relatively high visible cos, but have felt stagnant in the last 2 years or so and not feeling like I've been on the right path.

Fortunately I've managed to get decently lucky as far as the "startup lottery" is concerned and have the means to figure things out, but suffering from decision paralysis on what to do next. Have spent the last few weeks working on some web dev project to brush up on coding so I can better flesh out my own projects if I go down that path.
