Ask HN: Would there be any interest for a digital privacy 'discussion group'?

I have been milling this idea over for a while - I personally would quite like a space where I can discuss topics such as privacy, encryption, cryptocurrency etc. with others. A special interest/advocacy group with healthy discussion.

Forums and comment sections are okay, but they don't really foster long-lasting discussion and relationships. I imagine the group would be hosted on something like Slack or perhaps IRC. Do you think this is something people would be interested in joining?
