Interesting. Because my /etc/hosts file had the following as a default:

    127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost
    ::1  localhost.localdomain localhost

I thought it was `.localdomain` that was reserved.

I really thought so too! But I can't find any reference for it.
