That is not the case. Here is the data:
https://transparentcalifornia.com/salaries/california-state-...The only person making $400k+ is the Chancellor of the whole system, the majority of people making $300k+ are presidents of the individual CalState schools, and the administrators over $250+ are almost universally CFOs and senior executives at each school. Many presidents of the smaller schools are in the $200k range. You only start getting to non-executive administrators under $200k.
PS: There are people getting $400k-$500k total, but over $100k of that is benefits.
