I am working on this project solo, having invented a new kind of annotation editor, the graph model, and entered hundreds of historical letters and diary entries from the Renaissance. But I am looking now to take the next step of opening it up to users who either want to work on these texts, or even add their own.
The project has stimulated a bit of interest before when I've publicised it, but I don't have any experience building a community around it.
Are there any other HN developers who have successfully been able to build a crowdsourcing community around this kind of humanities project? I would welcome your insights to maximise the chances of my success in unveiling this to the internet.
