Hey folks. Our IT department has a decade worth of documentation with a host of problems; multiple storage locations, lack of documentation standards, differing formats, too vague or too verbose, etc. As someone who has long complained about this situation, I've decided I should probably stop complaining unless I'm willing to at least offer a solution. We all know it's a problem, but no one - myself included - has done anything to try and fix it. I'm looking for any white papers, blog posts, discussions, and so forth about best practices to handle this situation, both the backlog and new documentation going forward. Any suggestions? Thanks.
