Knowing lots of developers and designers I’m observing various different ways they come up with systems to be "creative on time". Some people are good at “crunching it out” (really benefitting from hard deadlines), others swear by the method of not occupying their main thoughts on the task at hand (eg going for a walk when “suddenly” the idea/solutions "comes to them").
