Ask HN: Gain access to the Instagram content publishing API?

We developed a social media management platform called SocialWeaver[1][2]. We compete in the same space as Buffer, Hootsuite and many others. We're getting some traction, but we are not able to retain users due to the lack of Instagram publishing. This is the number one ask from our users. We are not able to compete against existing solutions simply because they can publish to Instagram and we can't.

Any guidance on how to gain access to the Instagram content publishing API? The docs say that its in private beta (since January) and only accessible to marketing partners, but Instagram is not accepting applications for community management partners so that's not an option for us.
