I wouldn't call it a prank performance art piece. More like an attempt to help a friend break into show business that was unexpectedly successful.

I thought that Joey Skaggs regarded his body of work as pranks and performance art pieces.

I wouldn't know. I only know what this one article says.

Suffice it to say, I wish my life were more like that. I am envious of his unexpected success.
