What are the most useful layouts, layers, or tricks you use in your Ergodox EZ?

I just got an Ergodox EZ and it is awesome. While I know that it will take me a few months to feel truly comfortable and proficient, I am wondering if I could get some tips on the most useful things people have done with this keyboard
