Probably because it's not VC-fueled hyper hyped. And doesn't fit the current mainstream pattern of "world changing technologies", etc.

I see. I've seen a couple people recommend it now, I'll have to give it a look at some point.

I've heard it consumes a lot of memory which may be a problem though (this laptop only has 2GB RAM).
