The article doesn't appear to /make/ an argument - it just mentions the author's concerns about a problem which may or not exist, citing no evidence for anything mentioned.

At best it may be considered a rather poor call to ponder this (tired) issue?

(It mentions a book by an author with neither credentials not evidence and neuroscientists... backing up a point almost but not quite opposite to the book and the post itself)

I saw some weird glitches when I read this article in Chrome on Ubuntu Touch (it is fine in Firefox on the desktop though); it was reloading itself at weird intervals. At one point it looked like the last paragraph was the one that ended in “(You didn’t think I could write an entire column without mentioning him, did you?)”, after that it reloaded and I got another four paragraphs that did (lightly) touch upon the subject of the column.

Perhaps you had this issue as well?

Fired, along with tons of other journalists and technicians, because media don't do so well in the internet age (whether on print or on the web).
