My iPhone 5 safari used to easil handle 20 or more open tabs. After recent upgrades it's become so slow on some sites as to be virtually unusable, with only 2 or 3 tabs open. Chrome still fast.
The term "Planned obsolescence" comes to mind.
Time to ditch Safari.....
