May be no special restrictions at all (people are supposed to be equal, right?).

But we can start with reducing existing restrictions.

For example we can keep these restrictions:

- Background check (no criminal past)

- Revoke Welfare benefits for 5 years.

- $1K Green card processing fee.

- 1 month Green card processing time.

Don't you think that these restrictions are significant enough?

Do you need more restrictions in order to get ahead of foreign workers?

I don't think H-1B visa holders require a green card do they? You are actually proposing more restrictions.

The only reason why H-1B is needed is because Green Card processing is so slow - takes 10 (sic!) years in many cases.

If Green Card processing was fast - there would be no need for H-1B.
